The 5200 Aluminum Window Wall System Impact Framing System manufactured by Astral Aluminum and Glass, Inc. was designed to meet the High velocity hurricane Zone HVHZ after Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and has been updated to meet the current Florida Building Code. This system includes a 1 1/4” X 5” heavy aluminum frame member with 7/8” fin for glazing, removable glass stops for interior or exterior glazing, shear block joint construction, and 9/16” laminated or 1 1/4” Laminated/Insulated glass.
